Is a macaw right for me?

Well if you want my honest opinion, I think your a little young for a macaw. Birds are a lot of work and responsibility. They can bite, pluck out their feathers, and screech for hours on end. If your looking for a companion, maybe you should look into getting a cat. They're quiet, affectionate, and easy to care for. Hope this helps.
