So do I have this right: the two wars were necessary....?
US invaded Iraq to stop Saddam from invading Kuwait, and after protecting them, Kuwait offered oil contracts to Bush Sr. whose senior concern was oil inflation in his period. Then AlQaeda was formed by terrorists who did not want US in Iraq, and up till now, over one million Iraqis are dead--by accidents from terrorists and coalition forces. Then US invaded Afghanistan because Taliban would not give over Usama because they wanted US to provide proofs of his crimes, but Bush Jr. just invaded the country; and said "we do not negotiate with terrorists." Up till now, over one million Afghanis have died as casualties of war. Now Laden would be an idiot to still be hiding in Afghanistan, yet US is still fighting and propagating more hatred in Afghanistan to stop taliban who used to rule afghanistan even though they do not have Usama. The more people US is killing, the more families are orienting toward terrorism. While I admit that people of any country would support their governments, the value of lives should be reflected upon by privileged humans. Life is too short, and is it worth it to spread fear and hatred in people who do not have homes, no security, and sustain on revenge and bread and dirty water? US is the strongest country on earth with a GDP over a thousand times more than Afghanistan, yet those rag-tag group is able to fend off because they are a nationalist party fueled by hate and a desire to rule their own country by the government of their choice. Also, 9/11 was caused by Saudis, not Afghans or Iraqis. What do you think?
