I recently lost my cat, should I get a puppy or another kitten?

First of all, I'm sorry for your loss! I am going through the exact same thing right now! Except, i have recently lost my dog, not a cat. I have another dog that is also grieving, and I am wondering if she needs a companion. I have decided to get another dog in the next couple of months. We want a puppy. I think you should get a kitten because it will get along better with a cat than a puppy would. Hope this helps!
