Where will India be in the future?

India is rapidly advancing in status, and are sort of doing well to solve its problems but I need to know where they are actually going to be in the future. Will they have risen out of NIC (Newly Industrialized Country) status and be on par with the USA and the UK, or will they go back to where they were before?
