Tesco pregnancy test can water dilute it?

Ok, so i posted a question about superdrugs pregnancy test earlier, it was faint but most of the replies said i was probly pregnant.. I have now taken a tesco test and it says negative, i have been drinkin water all day cant this dilute my wee enough for the test not to show.. Soo confused :-/ xx
