My baby went breech @ 38 weeks!! OMG!! Need some positive reurance about C-Sections...?

I just had my second c-section on Wednesday August 12, 2009 with my baby girl and everything went great! I was much more prepared this time than the first time. It is a very scary feeling I won't lie about that. But just try to relax when going into surgery and do not tense up when they are giving your spinal block and remember not to hyperventilate. With my first c-section I almost paniced when I was numbed and laid flat down on my back, it was a very scary feeling and I almost lost it. Recovery is going to be rough and it will hurt very bad for the first 2 weeks. Just don't try to over do it and remember to take it easy. You will not be able to lay flat down in your bed at home for the fist week or two so I slept on the couch and it was actually very good sleep. I wish you the best and just remember it is all worth it when you see your little one.
